Rental Terms and Conditions

Rental Rates: $60 per hour. Rental hours extend till 10:00 p.m. A three-hour rental minimum applies, and the fee includes setup and cleanup time.

Optional Add-On: A tour of the second and third floors can be arranged in advance for an additional fee.

Deposit: A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure the event date. The event will not be placed on the calendar without the signed contract and deposit.

House Condition: The house must be left in the condition it was found.

Payment Terms: Full payment is due at the conclusion of the activity. Payment must be provided to the docent on duty. The deposit will be deducted from the financial balance owed.

Please Observe the Following Guidelines

• No smoking or candles are permitted in the mansion.

• Children must be supervised at all times and are not permitted to play the piano, organ, or on the stairs.

• The facility must be used as is. No additional chairs, tables, tents, or other furniture may be brought inside or outside without prior approval from the Public Relations Coordinator. Please do not move furniture or accessories in the rooms.

• All garbage must be removed by the renter. Dishes and silverware used must be cleaned and put away before leaving. This is not the responsibility of the caterer.

• Arrangements for table and chair setup and decorating must be discussed with the Public Relations Coordinator in advance.

• The Clinton Woman’s Club and its designated representatives are to be held harmless from any claims by renters by renters or guests for personal property loss or personal injury resulting from the use of the facilities.

The Curtis Mansion is a historic property and must be treated with care. The renter is responsible for any damage caused by the renter or their guest during the event. If damage occurs, the renter agrees to pay for the cost of repair or replacement. These costs may be greater than the security deposit and will be billed to the renter.
